There's much to see here but before you continue I want you to know that Jesus loves you so much! With that being said, take your time, look around, and learn all there is to know about Him. I hope you enjoy this blog and find words of encouragement here. Take a moment to connect with me on my socials to stay updated about what Truth Still is doing.
I dedicated my life to Christ when I was 18 years old and since then I've been on a spiritual journey with Jesus by my side. My turning point was when I finally realized that life isn't meant to be filled with betrayal, unhealthy relationships, negative mindsets and just bad things all the time. I wanted to experience freedom, rest, and real love in my life. For someone who has experienced being an unbeliever and a believer, I must say life is sweeter living for Jesus. I am imperfect striving to glorify God with all that I have.
Truth Still is a blog I created to share my journey of being a Christian woman, all it entails as well as share with other Christian Women what it means and looks like to live righteously in an unrighteous world. Am I perfect? No. Do I get it right all the time? No. Am I still learning and understanding God and His Word? Yes. However, that doesn't give me an excuse not to keep trying. I just want to glorify God.
I'm sure you're wondering what inspired the name Truth Still. I chose this name because we live in a world that pushes what it believes to be true. It's hard to keep up with society's truth because it's unattainable and unrealistic. I am glad that the Bible speaks of One truth, and His name is Jesus. The Bible is also filled with many principles to help us adhere to Jesus' commandments. Therefore, as believers we are meant to apply them to our lives no matter what! Therefore, It is my duty to uphold The Lord's truth over my own. Sometimes that can be challenging when we are use to our old way of thinking but, still, His truth stands.
Two of my favorite scriptures in the Bible say:
1. Jesus said to the people who believed in him, "You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:31-32).
2. Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me (John 14:6).
I am a disciple of Jesus Christ. Therefore, I am to live according to the Word of God (the Bible). What I want to share by means of my blog, social media platforms, and most importantly, my life, is that Jesus loves you. He died so you can be free from the harsh consequences of sin. He grants eternal life to those who believe in Him. Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you today.
Will you accept his invitation?
